There are artists who bring talent from the cradle, others develop it over the years, but maximum characteristic that makes a person achieve success in an artistic career is only: his passion for art. In the case of Kaynã Reis, Slow Motion, his love for notes music was already noticed from an early age when he scratched on the guitar and while growing up in an environment surrounded by musical influences.

On the one hand, Rock n' Roll riffs, on the other, Hip-Hop culture. In the middle of this mix still appeared the beats of electronic music and it was from this fusion of styles that he began to build the strong sound identity it has today. Whether on stage or in his productions, his sound brings references from the urban environment and presents a contrast between solid beats and melancholic overtones, energizing the body and soul.

Ask anyone who's experienced the bass of Slow Motion on some of the most coveted in Brazil: Green Valley, Matahari, El Fortin (where he lives) or even festivals like Kaballah and Só Track Boa — it was on these stages that he proved to be an artist with promising sound that is not tied to labels and that always delivers a sound in line with the his ideals, with a lot of groove, irreverence and daring.

The artistic explosion in his career came when he signed alongside Vintage Culture the remix of Sofi Tukker's "Drinkee" in 2016, song played millions of times that reverberates to this day. Evolving notably, in April 2020 he released “Slow Down”, a track that makes a perfect blend of his main influences and demonstrates that he continues innovating without letting go of its roots. There is still a lot of land to be explored by Slow Motion and he doesn't intend to stop anytime soon.
